Functional Training

In this video you will see Ed perform a 3 exercise circuit.

1) Negative chin ups- Ed slowly lowers himself from the “up” position.
This strengthens the back, arms, abs and helps you improve your ability to do regular chins.

2) Rear barbell lunges- this strengthens your legs, abs and improves your posture, balance, running economy & efficiency.

3) Keiser Lifting- strengthens your core rotationally, which improves your ability to play golf/tennis/softball,etc.

Treat Meals

To keep a good psychological approach to eating healthy, you will need treat meals every week.
To eat frequent, healthy and balanced meals takes planning and discipline.
To help you mentally, physically and emotionally, you should indulge in two treat meals per week.

If you crave a special appetizer, or some wine, an entree’ that isn’t particularly healthy, or that special dessert (cake, ice cream)- have it!
Just don’t have all of those things together- it would take days to work it off.

Full Body Exercises

In this video clip, Anthony performs two very tough exercises that you probably have never seen before.
He combines farmer’s walks with squats, supersetted with a 25 yard Bear Crawl.
This superset will work the whole body and drive up the heart rate.

Full Body- Power Plate

Ed is performing a circuit with Power Plate pushups, physioball leg curls, med ball slams and an agility drill on the X-Box.
The Power Plate utilizes whole body vibration, which creates more muscle contraction, circulation and bone density.
Newton’s 2nd Law is Force=Mass X Acceleration.
In the 1960’s, the Russians used this technology to keep their astronauts in shape, in space.
Since there is less gravity you can’t use traditional strength training.
